Hard Ballistic Plates
Hard plates are manufactured from materials such as boron
carbide (B4C), alumina (Al2O3), or steel. DEXXDEF supplies lightweight
ceramic/PE (polyethylene) composite plates alongside traditional steel plate
alternatives.
Soft Ballistic Plates
Kevlar, Dyneema, or Spectra fiber-based soft plates are inserted inside the vest carrier. Their flexibility and comfort make them suitable for extended wear, particularly preferred in underwear ballistic vest designs.
